A neurotransmitter-inhibiting peptide that relaxes expression lines without needles.
Acetyl Hexapeptide-3 (also known as Argireline) is a fragment of SNAP-25, a protein involved in neurotransmitter release. It inhibits the catecholamine release that triggers facial muscle contractions, producing a mild relaxing effect on expression lines — particularly around the eyes and forehead. The effect is modest and localised; it does not penetrate deeply enough to affect motor neurons systemically.
