How it works

Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate is a water-soluble Vitamin C salt that is stable at near-neutral pH, making it suitable for sensitive skin formulations. Skin phosphatases convert it to free ascorbic acid. Research suggests it has particular efficacy against acne-causing bacteria in addition to its antioxidant and brightening properties.

Effective at 1–3%. Studies show acne benefit at 1%.
